HE’S a mas­ter of all that he ser­vices and fixes. Chris Stans­field of KAP Nis­san Ash­ford in Kent has achieved Nis­san Mas­ter Tech­ni­cian sta­tus af­ter an in­ten­sive three­day train­ing pro­gramme run by Nis­san Mo­tor (GB) Limited in which he fin­ished in the top 30. The cour­ses is de­signed to de­velop the skills of the most tal­ented tech­ni­cians, as well as cre­at­ing a new ‘mas­ter tech­ni­cian’ level within the ser­vice teams of Nis­san deal­er­ships. Of the 252 tech­ni­cians who took the course, Nis­san se­lected the 30 tech­ni­cians with the high­est grades in the coun­try to en­joy a day in the driver’s seat at Brunt­ingth­orpe race­track in Le­ices­ter and try out var­i­ous Nis­san cars on the track and off-road. Chris said: “It gives me a great sense of sat­is­fac­tion to know that all the hard work I put into my job is recog­nised.”
