The roar of around 200 motorcycle engines was a fitting send-off for keen biker Grahame ’Bear’ Fisher.

Colleagues joined his funeral procession as it weaved through country lanes in Appledore, Bethersden and Woodchurch on its way to Charing Crematorium yesterday (Wednesday).

The mass cortege, involving four motorcycle clubs, left from Mr Fisher’s home in Snargate, on Romney Marsh, at 10am, for the service at 11.20am.

Mr Fisher died suddenly, aged 55, in the William Harvey Hospital on Tuesday, June 18.

He was a well-known Romney Marsh biker who had been in several biker groups, including the 75 Club, which was involved in the organisation of yesterday’s procession.
