French club celebrates anniversaire
A club set up to help teach children to speak French celebrated its 10th birthday with a special party.
Youngsters from the Bonjour Ashford French Club were joined by their families for a day of fun and games, and a celebration of all that is French.
Among the treats on offer were croissants, pancakes and pastries.
A raffle also offered the chance for parents to win up a free ferry crossing to France, as well as a host of other prizes.
The day also raised £622 for two worthy causes, the Kent Air Ambulance and East Kent Childhood Strokes.
The money will be matched by Barclays bank in the town.
