Do I look at the cars or the gliders!
The sun was shining for a day of classic cars and gliding at Squids Gate airfield, near Challock.
Kent Gliding Club opened their hangers for an open day on Sunday, and hundreds of people took advantage of the opportunity to look around, as well as enjoying the summer sunshine.
While gliders soared silently overhead, visitors could inspect some of the many impressive cars on display.
From a pack of Panthers to a cadre of Cadillacs, there were models on show to please enthusiasts of a British or American persuasion.
Reporter Tim Collins was among those to try their hand at gliding on the day. For a full report on his experience, see next week’s Kentish Express.
