Raising more than a sweat
A group of friends carried out a three hour aerobathon at Ashford’s Stour Centre to raise £200 for charity.
Organiser Marie Beba enrolled the help of body combat instructor Michelle Prior to lead 20 people in the charity aerobathon.
The traffic officer, 36, of Kennington, organised the event to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Earlier in the year she lost six toenails running 85km to raise £400 in memory of her mother Anne Beba, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2008.
Mrs Beba said: “I’ve done lots for Cancer Research UK and I’ve helped out with the Pilgrims Hospice pyjama walk and Macmillan was the only one that I hadn’t done anything for. They really helped my mum out with a lot of stuff so I just wanted to help them.”
