Slimmer Cindy loves being shadow of her former self

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Kent Business Update -

When primary school kitchen assistant Cindy Baldwin found a Slimming World leaflet on her doormat last August she initially put it straight in the rubbish bin.

But then she had second thoughts and joined her local group at East Stour Primary School.

In 25 weeks the mum-of-two lost three and a half stone to reach her target weight.

Cindy’s husband Paul is a diabetic and by eating the same food as his wife his long term sugar count has fallen from 135 down to 68.

Cindy said: “Losing weight has had amazing health benefits. I can now run races with my daughters and I go cycling on the bike I received for my birthday.”

During her weight loss journey Cindy was voted her group’s Miss Slinky title.

The Slimming World group meets at East Stour Primary School, Earlsworth Road, South Willesborough every Tuesday at 7.30pm. For details call Julie Noonan on 07753351962 or just drop in.
