Law firm Kingsfords, founded in Ashford by Julius Kingsford in the mid 1880s, has announced further expansion with the appointment of three new partners.

They are Julie Staines, who recently joined the firm, Daniel Crook and Marcus Parsons.

The firm has branch offices in Hythe and Staplehurst, in addition to its two offices in Ashford.

Senior partner John Edmonds said: “Julie, who will be the resi- dential conveyancing partner at the Hythe office, brings a wealth of experience to the firm, gained in over 30 years as a partner with other firms of solicitors. She is a well respected property lawyer who has earned an excellent reputation both with her clients and business contacts.

“Daniel and Marcus demonstrate commercial and entrepreneurial skills which are necessary in an increasing tech- nological age. I believe the firm will go from strength to strength with them on board”.

Daniel Crook joined Kingsfords in 2006 and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. He practises in the civil litigation department, specialising in employment law.

Marcus Parsons, who until recently practised in London, was born and lives in Tenterden and qualified as a solicitor in 2005.
