Jenkins enjoys his stroke of luck

The Fountain sea anglers also found species in their last two events.
At Princes Parade, Seabrook, Michael Warne found a couple of soles winning with 1.582kg.
Runner-up Barry Dilnutt, of Folkestone, landed a bass of 723grams and other catches included undersized smoothhound.
In the club’s late night event, Michael Warne was the winner again with mainly dogfish for 5.200kg with pout, sole and dogfish the main catches.
The latest Dungeness Sea Angling event was won by Gavin Smith with 28 fish for 8lb 10oz.
He included sole, dabs and the whiting are back. Second was Stephen Field, of Lydd, with 5lb 2oz and third John Smith, of Ashford, with 4lb 8oz.
Other results include the Martin Walters Sea Angler away match at Dungeness and that was won by Folkestone’s Barry Uden with 5lb 2oz and catches included dab, flounder, sole, dogfish, eel and a black bream.
Coarse fishing results include the Cinque Ports Angling Society all-night event fished at Beachborough Lakes
Winner was Paul Musson. of Dymchurch. with 27.330kg and he included two grass carp weighing 18lb 5oz and 14lb 8oz caught on the pole and pellet.
Second was Bill Usher, of Dymchurch, with 11.50kg and third Grant Turner of Hythe with 11.30kg.
Events coming up include the Cinque Ports Angling Society Junior Open at Ladies Walk on the Royal Military Canal on Saturday.
