At Princes Pa­rade, Seabrook, Michael Warne found a cou­ple of soles win­ning with 1.582kg.

Run­ner-up Barry Dil­nutt, of Folke­stone, landed a bass of 723grams and other catches in­cluded un­der­sized smooth­hound.

In the club’s late night event, Michael Warne was the win­ner again with mainly dog­fish for 5.200kg with pout, sole and dog­fish the main catches.

The lat­est Dun­geness Sea Angling event was won by Gavin Smith with 28 fish for 8lb 10oz.

He in­cluded sole, dabs and the whit­ing are back. Sec­ond was Stephen Field, of Lydd, with 5lb 2oz and third John Smith, of Ash­ford, with 4lb 8oz.

Other re­sults in­clude the Martin Wal­ters Sea An­gler away match at Dun­geness and that was won by Folke­stone’s Barry Uden with 5lb 2oz and catches in­cluded dab, floun­der, sole, dog­fish, eel and a black bream.

Coarse fish­ing re­sults in­clude the Cinque Ports Angling So­ci­ety all-night event fished at Beach­bor­ough Lakes

Win­ner was Paul Musson. of Dym­church. with 27.330kg and he in­cluded two grass carp weigh­ing 18lb 5oz and 14lb 8oz caught on the pole and pel­let.

Sec­ond was Bill Usher, of Dym­church, with 11.50kg and third Grant Turner of Hythe with 11.30kg.

Events com­ing up in­clude the Cinque Ports Angling So­ci­ety Ju­nior Open at Ladies Walk on the Royal Mil­i­tary Canal on Satur­day.
