A £500 donation has gone to the Paula Carr Trust following a Freemasons’ ladies festival.
A total of £1,000 was raised from the St Michael’s Lodge event at the UKP Leisure Club in Sittingbourne.
The money was split between the trust and the deaf and hard of hearing charity Hi Kent.
The Paula Carr Trust helps people with diabetes and has a centre at the William Harvey Hospital.
