Gardens transformed into gallery

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - What’s On -

Sculptures crafted by talented new artists will be on display against the colourful backdrop of Godinton House and Gardens.

The work will be displayed throughout the 13 acres of formal and wild gardens.

Among the artists exhibiting is Michael Kusz of Graculus Sculptures, who will be displaying his quirky copper birds – including a fabulous heron.

Godinton’s head gardener, Viv Hunt, said: “We are always thrilled to see the new work installed and how it brings the garden to life. It’s a real joy to make the garden into a gallery.”

The gardens are open daily from 2-5.30pm between July 27 and August 18. Entrance is £5 for adults, children free.
