Drover-grown! Weeds cover roundabout

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - New Arrivals -

Maybe if the cows on Drovers Roundabout were real it wouldn’t be looking so overgrown and unsightly.

Over the past fortnight the grass and weeds have grown over knee height on the junction, also known as the Cow Roundabout, which is a gateway for visitors to the town from the M20 and A20.

Last week a Kent County Council spokesman said: “We’re arranging to get it trimmed back as soon as practically possible.”

However, a week later, there has not been a lawnmower in sight.

Perhaps the Highland Cows keeping the Warren weed-free and tidy could help?
