Project brings health progress
A health and wellbeing project has been helping residents of an accommodation project for older people.
Residents of the Family Mosaic group have been taking part in the eight-week HAPi project.
As part of the course, they have been trying out a new activity each week, including indoor mat bowls, Zumba, gentle circuits, tai-chi and chair aerobics.
Ashford Leisure Trust manager Peter Le Rossignol said: “The HAPi project has been a great success. It is good to see how the participants have progressed over the course of eight weeks. As a trust we are hoping to develop more of these projects to help the local community get more active and live a healthier lifestyle.”
