Poster girl in war on crime
A Wye schoolgirl has won a competition to design a poster to help prevent doorstep crime.
KCC’s Trading Standards Service invited primary and special school pupils to design posters and the overall primary school winner was Marguerite Scully from Lady Joanna Thornhill’s Primary School in Wye, who was presented with a certificate of achievement and a selection of goodies at the school.
Sandra Cook, KCC Vulnerable and Young Consumers Project officer, said: “Marguerite’s entry was chosen because of the clear message that the poster gives.”
Fifty-seven other pupils at the Wye school also received certificates.
