Now we’ve got a quiet corner to enjoy
A new peaceful garden for pupils has opened at Egerton Primary School.
The Quiet Garden, which was funded by the Parochial Church Council and the school, was designed by the pupils them- selves and created in a previously unused part of the playground.
The garden was landscaped by two past pupils of the school, Lawrence Kale from LJC Landscapes and Richard Newman, with the help of Jenny Oliver.
The Bishop of Dover, the Rt Rev Trevor Willmott, officially opened the garden when he toured the school and attended a school morning assembly in St James’ Church, Egerton.
