Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Saying Goodbye -

Pupils at Ashford’s St Simon’s Primary School waved goodbye to their lessons for the day to join the circus in a special farewell to their head teacher.

The children were treated to a performance by The Sensible Circus as a leaving gift from Elizabeth Willis, to mark her retirement.

The group tours schools, providing workshops and performances for pupils, and the St Simon’s youngsters enjoyed trying our circus skills before watching the circus act.

The day was organised by Mrs Willis, who has been the head of the Noakes Meadow school for the last decade.
