They bid farewell
Kennett said: “Mrs Willis has dedicated her life to Catholic teaching and we are privileged that she chose to devote her last 10 years to St Simon’s, bringing our wonderful school to the brink of outstanding.
“For her, teaching has been a vocation of love.
“She has led St Simon’s with love and passion making sure that children know the true love of Jesus in their lives and creating for them the wonderful place of love and learning that St Simon’s is.”
Mrs Willis will be succeeded by deputy head, Peter McCabe, who has been at the school for the last 13 years. Joe Ling will take over as deputy.
