Inquest into death of teen killed in crash
An inquest has been opened into the death of an Ashford teenager killed in a car crash in Suffolk.
A post-mortem showed 18-yearold builder John Cash, known as Jonny, died from head injuries, the inquest at Bury St Edmunds heard on Friday.
Mr Cash’s best friend Chris- topher Doran, 19, of Bampton, Oxfordshire, also died in the crash after suffering chest injuries.
The pair died on the evening of November 23 when the Citroen Berlingo they were travelling in with four other people crashed into the wall of the White Hart Inn on the A12 in the village of Blythburgh.
A 17-year-old boy from Wokingham has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The inquest was adjourned while a police investigation continues.
