No hope...if it can’t even fix the parking
With regard to the parking issue at Ashford Delivery Office in Tannery Lane (KE, Dec 26), which came first, the office, or the double yellow lines?
At times it almost seems as though people are being invited to break the law.
It seems as though the council will pass planning applications despite genuine concerns on parking and road safety.
A case in point is the fish and chip shop at Cradlebridge Drive, Willesborough.
The double yellow lines were already there, with signs saying ‘No Parking’ at any time.
Yet the council passed the planning application, which has resulted in motorists parking illegally, including on the pavement, up to and on the T junction, plus on the drop kerbs, in some cases for up to 15-20 minutes.
