Slimmers transform empty shop window
An empty shop unit in Ashford is now full – thanks to a band of slimming group organisers.
The team of Ashford Slimming World consultants have brightened up the shop window of the vacant premises in Bank Street to promote their groups.
Spokeswoman Julie Noonan said: “We have kindly been given the use of the empty shop next to the Ashford Christian Fellowship Church, which has sat empty for a while.
“We have decorated the windows with lots of information about all the groups that are available and some success stories and hope it brightens up the street.
“Last week the groups welcomed 253 new members, who came along to achieve their dream of losing weight without ever going hungry.”
Representatives of Ashford Slimming World groups will be at the premises this Saturday morning between 11am-1pm. offering advice on classes.
