Im­prove­ments to ser­vices for peo­ple with men­tal health con­di­tions will be un­der dis­cus­sion at an up­com­ing pub­lic meet­ing.

Ash­ford Clin­i­cal Com­mis­sion­ing Group, the body re­spon­si­ble for GP ser­vices in the bor­ough, is call­ing on res­i­dents to sug­gest pos­si­ble changes.

The meet­ing will pro­vide an op­por­tu­nity for ser­vice users, car­ers, com­mu­nity care providers and vol­un­tary or­gan­i­sa­tions to share their ex­pe­ri­ences of com­mu­nity men­tal health ser­vices for adults. It takes place from 10am un­til 12.45pm on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 30, at the Hol­i­day Inn in Can­ter­bury Road, Ash­ford.
