The feisty UKIP candidate for the South East, Janice Atkinson, thinks so and took a sideswipe at Maidstone and Weald MP Helen Grant, who has apparently brushed off the idea.

“Only by statutory flying over government buildings, including schools and taxpayer funded institutions, can we demonstrate a pride in our country,” says Ms Atkinson sternly.
Really? The only way we can instil a feeling of pride? A bit of political hyperbole, we feel.
