Help at hand from life coach

A life coach is hop­ing to help peo­ple im­prove their lives. Yvonne Fer­nando is trained in neuro-lin­guis­tic pro­gram­ming (NLP), a way of chang­ing peo­ple’s pat­terns of men­tal and emo­tional be­hav­iour.

She will be run­ning work­shops at Char­ing Surgery, in Surgery Close, based on self-im­prove­ment. The se­ries be­gins on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 23, with Food for Thought, a free sem­i­nar from noon un­til 1pm ex­plor­ing how our thoughts can im­pact diet and food choices. A 10-week pro­gramme of mind­ful­ness med­i­ta­tion ses­sions will also be run­ning from 10am to 11am weekly from to­day (Thurs­day) un­til Thurs­day, March 20, at the surgery.
