Home worker stole £1,200
An employee who stole more than £1,000 from a Tenterden care home has been ordered to do 200 hours unpaid work.
Lynette Crisp, 45, of Leaveland Close, Ashford, pleaded guilty to theft when she appeared before Canterbury magistrates.
The court heard she stole £1,240 from a care home in Ashford Road between September 4 and November 4 last year.
Crisp was ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay £1,240 in compensation, £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
