Cutting edge refurb for CXK
A formerly unemployed youngster from Ashford is among those working on the refurbishment project.
CXK required contractors RAP to appoint an out-ofwork teenager as part of their team of workers.
Tom Lord, 17, was previously working as a voluntary labourer and is now on site.
He said: “My job requires me to assist the project manager in the running of the contract, as well as helping to keep the site safe and tidy.
“RAP have already put me through a training programme. The company are very supportive and friendly.”
