Hotel plans two-storey extension
Planning permission is being sought to extend a hotel near Ashford.
Plans to increase the size of Eastwell Manor in Boughton Lees include the building of a two-storey extension to the existing pavilion.
The application was submitted to Ashford Borough Council last month and is currently subject to a period of consultation.
The new extension would include brick walls, slate roof and double-glazed windows, to match the look of the existing buildings.
Three extra parking spaces would also be created.
The application was submitted by David Stewart, of Lee Evans Planning, and is expected to be considered by the council’s planning committee by March at the latest.
Comments from the public on this application need to be registered by February 17.
