West End’s ar­rival helps raise £1,500

Char­ity con­cert The West End Comes to Ware­horne raised more than £1,500 for chil­dren’s brain tu­mour re­search char­ity Ab­bie’s Army.

Now in its fourth year, the show, which took place in De­cem­ber, brings to­gether pro­fes­sion­als from Lon­don’s West End to per­form with chil­dren from the JUMP the­atre arts group.

The con­cert is or­gan­ised by Kelly O’Leary, who spent 10 years per­form­ing in the West End, on tele­vi­sion and in re­gional the­atre and now runs a range of JUMP classes from Ware­horne vil­lage hall.

Some pro­ceeds went to­wards vil­lage hall main­te­nance.
