Food festival’s tasty treats
A culinary blend of food from home and abroad was on offer at County Square’s Food and Drink Fair.
The feast of flavours was provided by a range of suppliers from the borough and across Kent at the festival which ran last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Among the delights to tempt the taste buds were dishes from Merhil Indian Foods, Healthy Appetite Mexican Foods, MKs Olives and Goodchilds Bakers.
And home and furnishings stalls such as Pivington Pots and Orlestone Oak Beams also proved popular.
Centre manager Fran Burt said: “There was a very buzzy atmosphere, with lots of people stopping to try the free samples.
“A lot of the producers said they did really well, which is always a really positive sign.”
