Arrogant Clarkson believes car is king

In response to the infamous Jeremy Clarkson in last week’s Express, I guess that it could “only be a matter of time before somebody was killed” in the shared space in Ashford, if the drivers proceed with the arrogance of people like Mr Clarkson.

He seems to regard the car as king and is apparently unconcerned about his fellow human beings who happen to be pedestrians.

He might need to be a little more sensitive to the needs of others when driving in such situations.

Who is “the idiot”? Possibly one who drives without consideration for others? Does he not put the children’s safety (the humps) before his selfish determination to drive just as fast as he deems he has the right to?

A related matter is Mr Clarkson’s excessive promotion of fast cars which use vast quantities of petrol and produce enormous amounts of pollution.

Is he not aware of climate change and the slow trashing of the planet which is being brought about by such a selfish way of life plus the influence he is having on others? Marilyn Sanson Ashford Green Party
