Soaking up the fun...
A charity manager found herself the victim of major soaking at a summer fete in aid of the Kent Autistic Trust.
More than £800 was raised for the charity at the event, which was held at the Ashford Resource Centre, in Bentley Road, Willesborough.
The fete included a live band, a cake stall, bric-abrac, raffle, face painting and saw operational manager Joan Hagan take her turn in the stocks.
She said: “The fete was a huge success and we are already beginning to plan next year’s event.”
The total raised was £835.52.
