Have a mucky time for char­ity

Char­ity sup­port­ers are be­ing chal­lenged to take on one of Kent’s dirt­i­est days out.

The KM As­sault Course Chal­lenge is back for a sec­ond year and or­gan­is­ers are throw­ing down the gaunt­let to busi­nesses, friends and fam­i­lies.

Le­gal ea­gles Fair­weath­ers So­lic­i­tors will put to­gether a team to raise funds for Head­way East Kent Head In­jury Sup­port.

Or­gan­ised by the KM char­ity de­part­ment, the event fea­tures a 530m course with ob­sta­cles in­clud­ing tyre wall, wa­ter jump, rope walk and bal­ance beams.

Prizes will be given to the team which raises the most for char­ity and the team with the best fancy dress out­fits. The big­gest in­di­vid­ual fundraiser will win £250 to spend at Blue­wa­ter shop­ping cen­tre.

Funds raised will be shared be­tween par­tic­i­pants’ cho­sen char­i­ties and the KM’s road safety work for chil­dren.

The KM As­sault Course Chal­lenge, which is spon­sored by Fair­weath­ers So­lic­i­tors and Lon­don Fancy Box, takes place at Fowlmead Coun­try Park on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 4.
