Learn to relax and keep calm
A new programme of relaxation, mindfulness and meditation starts at Charing Surgery next month.
The 10-week course – beginning on Thursday, September 11 – is the second of its kind and has been scheduled due to the success of the first.
Neuro-linguistic practitioner and life coach Yvonne Fernando, who runs the programme, said: “Relaxation is fundamental to good health and wellbeing and one of the best antidotes to stress. Learning how to relax can clear the mind, calm the emotions and result in a healthier body.
“The course is designed for patients to take positive action in support of their own health and wellbeing.”
The sessions will run from 10am to 11am every Thursday and participants are asked to contribute a £5 donation per class which will go towards the Canine Partners charity.
