Couples can get a helping hand from an Ashford hotel’s romance expert to spruce up their relationship.

The Ashford International Hotel, in Simone Weil Avenue, have introduced charm specialist Qpid to help guests brush up romantic skills.

Qpid will offer guests advice and support in making romantic gestures during their stay – from organising flowers for the room to a private candle-lit dinner. And, as Qpid remains a mystery character, it’s the guest who gets to take all the credit.

Hotel manager Deidre Billing said; “QHotels is renowned for providing an excellent level of service, tailored to each guest. Our new Qpid character is taking this personalisation one step further to ensure couples looking for a romantic break reclaim the lost art of romance.”

The hotel hired Qpid following a report which said two out of three Britains believed the nation has lost the art of chivalry. As a consequence, one fifth of women say their partner hasn’t done anything romantic in the last year.

Could Qpid help you make a romantic gesture?
