Wye stay third in Division 1A Central after a two-wicket home defeat against Borstal. The Medway visitors got home with 16 balls to spare scoring 175-8 after the home side, put into bat, made 173-9. The result leaves Wye 25 points behind joint-leaders Staplehurst and Holcombe & Blue Bell Hill, and host the former club in their final game of the season on Saturday week. Willesborough crashed to 98 all out, losing by 51 runs at Selsted in 1B East. Tim Luckhurst (4-19) and Ashley Robinson (3-11) were the pick of the Borough bowlers in the home side’s 149 all out but poor batting let them down, No.9 Shaheer Malik top scoring with 18 not out.
