A big bra-vo! Lin­gerie shop up for award

An Ash­ford lin­gerie shop has been short-listed for a na­tional award.

El­e­gance Lin­gerie, in the High Street, is owned by Dawn Luck.

It has been put for­ward for the best new­comer cat­e­gory in the Stars Un­der­lines Best Shop Awards.

The awards recog­nise ex­cel­lence in in­ti­mate ap­parel, swimwear and leg­wear from in­di­vid­ual spe­cial­ist shops to large depart­ment stores.

El­e­gance Lin­gerie, which has been open for 16 months, of­fers a wide range of un­der­wear brands as well as mas­tec­tomy bras.

Staff also have 10 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in bra fit­tings.

The best new­comer award is for any store that has a large range of style of prod­ucts and shows po­ten­tial and prom­ise within a short pe­riod of time.

Mrs Luck will hear if El­e­gance Lin­gerie has been suc­cess­ful at the cer­e­mony be­ing held at The Cum­ber­land Ho­tel in Mar­ble Arch, London, on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 20.

The store is up against 10 oth­ers in its cat­e­gory.

At­tend­ing the awards will be 88 fi­nal­ists, who were short-listed from 400 nom­i­nees.
