Pop-up shop sell­ing Christ­mas gifts

A new pop-up shop spe­cial­is­ing in home­made Christ­mas gifts has opened in Ash­ford.

The Em­po­ria Craft and Vin­tage Mar­ket is in Bank Street, next to the Em­po­ria Fab­ric and Craft shop.

The store fea­tures the pro­duce of more than 20 dif­fer­ent de­sign­ers, and sells knit­ted hats and scarves, leather satchels, quilts and cush­ions, jew­ellery and ac­ces­sories, hand­made soap, cho­co­lates and Christ­mas dec­o­ra­tions.

Lotte Jamieson, who sells her prod­ucts in the shop, said: “We’re very ex­cited about it.

“This unique col­lab­o­ra­tive pop-up gives lo­cal shop­pers the chance to buy un­usual and one-off gifts for their friends and fam­ily this Christ­mas, mak­ing a change from the stan­dard high street, big brand

To cel­e­brate the open­ing, Mrs Heal and the sell­ers hosted a launch party on Tues­day.

The shop will be open un­til Christ­mas Eve.
