Appeal for witnesses after man attacked in nightclub
A man was taken to hospital after he was bottled in an Ashford nightclub.
The 23-year-old victim was washing his hands in the toilets of Cameo in Station Road when he was hit on the back of the head by a man holding a glass bottle.
He held his arms over his head to protect himself, but was hit on the arm. He suffered cuts to his head, arm and back.
The attack took place at 2am on Tuesday, August 18, but details have only just been released as police appeal for witnesses.
The suspect is described as a white man who was wearing a long-sleeved white T-shirt.
Det Con Michael Sedden said: “The suspect was not known to the victim although it’s reported there was a dispute earlier in the night between the suspect and the victim’s friend.
“We want to thank the witnesses we have already spoken to and would urge anyone who hasn’t come forward and saw either the assault in the toilets or the earlier incident, to get in touch on 01843 222289.”
