Fun way for chil­dren to get ac­tive

Chil­dren are in­vited to take part in a string of free events at the Ash­ford De­signer Out­let de­signed to pro­mote get­ting ac­tive.

From to­mor­row (Fri­day) un­til Sun­day, the cen­tre in Kim­ber­ley Way will fea­ture a pop-up Flex Trial Zone in the car park op­po­site the Nike Fac­tory store.

It will be man­aged by pro­fes­sional sport­ing coaches of­fer­ing a range of fit­ness ac­tiv­i­ties.

On Satur­day be­tween 1-3pm and 3-5pm, The Nike Sports Day will take place, con­sist­ing of a se­ries of three 20 minute classes for kids in­clud­ing run­ning and street dance.

Skills will be mea­sured and recorded and all par­tic­i­pants will re­ceive a diploma.

The event is free, open to chil­dren aged eight to 14 and all reg­is­tered par­tic­i­pants will re­ceive a Nike goody bag which in­cludes a wa­ter bot­tle, phone cover and T-shirt.
