Man found injured still in critical condition
A man who was found with serious head injuries in a road in Mersham is still in a critical condition in hospital.
Gary Langham, who is in his 40s and from Folkestone, was found lying in Bower Road on Sunday, August 23 after a suspected hit and run.
It is believed he was discovered by a tractor driver at about 7am before he was rushed to King’s College Hospital, in London, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving the following Tuesday.
The arrest came days after launching an appeal to trace the occupants of two cars believed to be in the area at the time.
The man from Mersham has not yet been charged and has been released on police bail until September 23 while inquiries continue.
