Ash­ford Un­der-12 Colts came from be­hind to beat Faver­sham Strike Force 6-1 in the East Kent Youth League Di­vi­sion 1 thanks to goals from Dy­lan Dawes (3), Al­fie Prior (2) and Jamie Betts. Man-of-the-match was Harry Sikir­wayi. United’s un­der-13s beat Ken­ning­ton Ju­niors 4-2, cour­tesy of goals from Jay God­dard (2), Alex Long­more and Alex Rouet. Player-of-the­match was Moses Epu­lani. The un­der-12 re­serves also started off with a win, de­featng last sea­son’s cham­pi­ons Court­side Son­ics, 5-2. Fred­die Grist (2), Liam Daly, Miles Ma­son and Ewoma Ar­porehe were their scor­ers. South Ash­ford are look­ing for play­ers to join their East Kent Youth League Un­der-15 team. Train­ing takes place ev­ery Tues­day from 6-7pm at Ash­ford Town’s Home­lands Sta­dium, Ash­ford Road, Kingsnorth, with matches on Sun­day af­ter­noons. Ash­ford & Dis­trict Youth League re­turned on Satur­day. Last sea­son’s Un­der-14 Cup fi­nal­ists re­sumed their ri­valry in the Un­der-15 Di­vi­sion, with Park Farm Rangers win­ning 2-0 against Wye Ju­niors. There were also wins for Ken­ning­ton, New Rom­ney and Smeeth & Brabourne. In the Un­der-14 Di­vi­sion, Brom­ley Green con­tin­ued their win­ning ways from last sea­son. There were also vic­to­ries for Bid­den­den, New Rom­ney and Smeeth & Brabourne Un­der-13 new boys Willes­bor­ough Ath­letic Youth started in win­ning fash­ion, along with Head­corn , Mer­sham and Park Farm Rangers. Ash­ford United Ju­niors edged Ash­ford Court­side Son­ics 5-3. Grasshop­pers, Mer­sham and Dawes Hern­hill Herons also won.
