Man denies stabbing pensioner
A 23-year-old man has denied stabbing a pensioner at her home in Wye.
Leonidis Mouzakitis, from Folkestone, appeared at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday accused of aggravated burglary, stealing car keys, theft of a BMW and grievous bodily harm (GBH).
He denied all charges and will go on trial early next year.
Mouzakitis is accused of stabbing Wendy Webster, who is in her 70s, at a house in Little Olantigh Road, near Amage Road, on Sunday, August 23.
Emergency crews rushed to the house at the junction of Coldharbour Lane and Ms Webster was flown to a London hospital with serious injuries.
She is reportedly making steady progress and her injuries are not thought to be lifethreatening.
Mouzakitis is due at Canterbury Crown Court for his trial in February next year.
