Helen Weeden produced a strong run to complete the Great North Run in two hours 11 minutes 39 seconds in hot conditions in the North East on Sunday.
She was among 57,000 starters in the popular half-marathon from Newcastle to South Shields.
Closer to home, Gill Pragnell finished seventh in the Eridge 10-mile near Tunbridge Wells on her return to racing on Sunday.
She covered the difficult, onelap course on both grass and steep woodland trails in 1:33.53.
Jon Wells finished third in the final race of the Rye 5k Summer Series last Friday to finish second overall. Wells came home in 18.50.
Mark Attenborough was ninth in 20.25.
