Four crashes delay drivers on motorway
Drivers faced delays after four crashes in three days along the M20.
At around 8.15am on Monday, a lane of the Londonbound carriageway became blocked between junction 9 for Ashford and junction 8 for Leeds Castle after a car spun.
No one was hurt and the lane was closed for an hour while the car was removed and debris cleared.
Two crashes caused more misery on Tuesday.
Between junctions 8 and 9, lane one of the coast-bound carriageway was blocked after a crash involving one car at 7.50am. Another crash, again involving just one car, happened along the same stretch 10 minutes later.
Emergency services attended both. No serious injuries were reported.
The crashes came after Kent woke up to heavy rain on Tuesday morning, and roads across the county suffered flooding.
A car and lorry collided yesterday morning (Wednesday) on the Londonbound carriageway between junctions 9 and 8.
Although no serious injuries were reported, the crash caused delays during the rush hour.
