Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Police In The Spotlight -

Godinton House is hosting a Macmillan coffee morning tomorrow (Friday).

The event, in aid of the cancer charity, will take place in the tearoom of the historic house in Godinton Lane, near Ashford tomorrow (Friday) from 10.30am.

Visitors are invited to join the mansion’s staff, volunteers and guides and enjoy a slice of homemade cake and cup of tea or coffee as part of the world’s biggest coffee morning.

Last year alone the event raised £25 million for the cancer charity and this year the organisers aim to raise even more.

Visitors to Godinton House will also be able to enjoy the gardens. At this time they reach their maturity with dahlias, cannas and a mass of perennials, fruit and vegetables to be seen.
