Print firm goes online with website in nationwide bid

A town centre printing firm has launched a new website in a bid to compete with the big boys in the industry.

Staff at Print Junction in Drum Lane, Ashford are hoping the new site will allow them to reach customers nationwide.

Mother and son duo Sonja and Joe Adams lead the business as part of a team of five, and say business is continuing to boom.

Sonja said: “It’s extremely important for us from a marketing point of view as things have changed so much in the last 15 years, having a good web presence is of paramount importance.

“It has been a challenge finding the time to create the new site, as we’ve had to generate all the images and content ourselves alongside running the business.

“While we are focussed on the Kent market, we hope the website will give us a more national presence as well.”

The business was founded in 2007 in Elwick Road, but moved to its new premises in Drum Lane two years ago in order to meet the growth in demand.

One of the projects they are running is for schoolchildren to create their own Christmas card designs, with £1 being given back to schools per card.

Sonja said they hope up to 150 schools will take part this year, which could help raise hundreds of pounds for school funds.
