Kentish Express Ashford & District - - News -

There are often more A-boards in Ashford town centre these days than shoppers!

Devsiri Hewavidana, of Park Farm, has attacked the huge number advertising shops and businesses in one area of the High Street, saying they pose a danger to the elderly and blind and make walking past like tackling an “obstacle course”.

He described the situation as “ridiculous”.

Last Friday the Kentish Express was amazed to find there were 99 set up in the upper and lower High Street, New Rents, Bank Street and North Street.
