Race night helps charity
A welcome £1,000 has been raised for the Twinkling Stars Project following a family race night in Ashford.
The fun night was organised by the Mugs Club, who do various events to raise money for charities throughout the year.
Tony Fortune and Gary Owen, president and chairman of the club, handed the money over to Charlotte and Glenn BassettRogers last week.
The Twinkling Stars Project was set up following the death of Charlotte and Glenn’s son, Blake, who was stillborn at 25 weeks.
The charity hopes to open a bereavement unit in the William Harvey Hospital.
