Red-carpet day at dog salon
The red carpet treatment was extended for humans and dogs during the grand opening of a pet spa business.
The Shaggy to Chic Pet Spa Boutique in Kennington opened with a touch of VIP treatment for 35 guests on Saturday, including champagne, nibbles and dog biscuits. The day raised £105.96 for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Customers will be asked to donate £1 to the charity and the salon will match that.
The business is run by Julia Sinclair, 32, in Woodstock Way and offers grooming services for dogs.
