Danny Lye knew what he was do­ing in the red-card in­ci­dent that trig­gered Ash­ford’s FA Vase fight­back from 2-0 down, writes Craig Tucker.

Lye said: “The Vase has been a nice break from the league but it puts pres­sure on the league be­cause we have points to make up.

“We’ve been able to play with free­dom in the Vase but the league is the pri­or­ity for me and I still think we can win it –100%. We want to get out of this league as soon as we can.”
