Thousands of runners, including scores from the Kentish Express area, will be pounding the streets of the capital in this year’s Virgin London Marathon.

For most participants the event offers the chance to raise cash for a chosen charity, with last year’s race raising £50 million for worthy causes – bringing the total amount raised since the race began in 1981, to more than £650 million.

This year we will again be highlighting the efforts of runners from our area.
