Willes­bor­ough Ath­letic con­tin­ued their quadru­ple chase for league and cup hon­ours with a 3-2 win over Kings Hill to move into the semi-fi­nals of the Les Leckie Cup. The Ash­ford vil­lagers who lifted five tro­phies last sea­son and head Divi­sion 3 East, put out a team in­clud­ing sev­eral for­mer Ry­man League play­ers, who head the league above. Willes­bor­ough host last sea­son’s beaten fi­nal­ists Rol­ven­den in the last four next month. Willes trailed twice in the tie, be­fore sub­sti­tute Joshua Jones grabbed the 87thminute win­ner. Steve Cow­ell and Ri­ley had scored the oth­ers with Rhys Law­son and Richard Sin­den on tar­get for the vis­i­tors. Joe Fisher, Jor­dan Har­ris and Jor­dan King net­ted as Ken­ning­ton won 3-1 at Hilden­bor­ough in the Premier Divi­sion. Ryan Carter hit four goals as Ken­ning­ton Re­serves beat Sit­ting­bourne Com­mu­nity 8-0 in Divi­sion 2 East. Luke Bur­don added two more, with Steve John­son and own­goal, com­plet­ing the tally. The vis­i­tors’ cause was not helped by hav­ing a player sent off in­side the open­ing half hour. Mitchell Man­nell and Sam Per­ci­val scored for Ash­ford United Re­serves in their 2-0 win at Shep­pey United Re­serves. Rol­ven­den’s home game against New Rom­ney Re­serves was post­poned as the vis­i­tors failed to raise a side.
