Willesborough Athletic continued their quadruple chase for league and cup honours with a 3-2 win over Kings Hill to move into the semi-finals of the Les Leckie Cup. The Ashford villagers who lifted five trophies last season and head Division 3 East, put out a team including several former Ryman League players, who head the league above. Willesborough host last season’s beaten finalists Rolvenden in the last four next month. Willes trailed twice in the tie, before substitute Joshua Jones grabbed the 87thminute winner. Steve Cowell and Riley had scored the others with Rhys Lawson and Richard Sinden on target for the visitors. Joe Fisher, Jordan Harris and Jordan King netted as Kennington won 3-1 at Hildenborough in the Premier Division. Ryan Carter hit four goals as Kennington Reserves beat Sittingbourne Community 8-0 in Division 2 East. Luke Burdon added two more, with Steve Johnson and owngoal, completing the tally. The visitors’ cause was not helped by having a player sent off inside the opening half hour. Mitchell Mannell and Sam Percival scored for Ashford United Reserves in their 2-0 win at Sheppey United Reserves. Rolvenden’s home game against New Romney Reserves was postponed as the visitors failed to raise a side.
